I am all jacked up on Endorphines today after my 3rd straight weekend of 5k PR's!
Still haven't reached my goal of breaking 21:00 but I do have a giant trophy!
Three weeks ago a training friend of mine (Thanks Cassie!) asked me to come help clean up after a small 5k race out in Collinsville, Il.
The last 5k race I ran was a year ago and I strolled in around 23:30. At this new race - I crossed the line in 21:43, first in my age division.
So, I went home and found when the next 5k race was and 5 days later I finished another 5k in 21:10!
and today - 21:00. Sweet!!
